My name is Antonia, and I'm an active birth doula, and NCT trained antenatal teacher.

I've been running antenatal classes for the last sixteen years, and in that time our maternity system has changed. My antenatal course reflects this, and will equip you with all that you'll need to give birth confidently, here in Worthing.

Nothing can truly prepare you for parenthood, but my classes are designed to give you the knowledge and self-belief you need to jump into the challenge - and leave you feeling fully supported from all sides.

As well as offering you comprehensive, unbiased and evidence-based birth education, I’m also going to get you as ready as you possibly can be for life with a new baby! Whether I’m coaching your other half into being the best birth partner ever, helping you work through all your options until you’ve decided on the right birth preferences for you, offering you relationship-saving coping strategies, or opening discussions about how our own childhoods affect our parenting styles - I’ll always be serving you hot drinks and home made snacks at the same time. Because what’s an antenatal class without refreshments?

And once your baby is finally here - the support continues, with unlimited weekly hot lunches and loving postnatal support hosted in my home for as long as you need it …… at no extra charge. Every Thursday you'll be invited to sink onto a sofa and be looked after - because supported parents mean happier babies. (Motherless Mothers get extra TLC.)

Session Three - Your New Baby / Breastfeeding / What to expect during the early days

Session Four - Sleep / Routines / The Fourth Trimester

Session Five - Identity & Mental Health / Support Networks / Protecting Your Relationship

The course costs £215, inclusive of all sessions, all refreshments - and unlimited postnatal support once your baby has arrived. Class sizes are kept small and cosy - they'll be a maximum of six couples in each group. If you don't have a birth partner then you're more than welcome to bring a friend or relative along instead.
