MATERNITY AND NEONATAL VOICES PARTNERSHIP (MNVP) – TOWER HAMLETS, WALTHAM FOREST & NEWHAM

The Maternity and Neonatal Voices Partnership (MNVP) is an independent, community-led partnership that ensures the voices of women, birthing people and families are at the heart of maternity and neonatal care across Tower Hamlets, Waltham Forest and Newham.

MNVP listens to lived experiences across the whole maternity journey from early pregnancy, through birth, and into postnatal and neonatal care and uses this insight to influence meaningful improvements in local NHS services. While independent of the NHS, MNVP works in close partnership with healthcare professionals, commissioners, and the Local Maternity and Neonatal System (LMNS) to help shape safer, higher quality and more equitable care.

We bring together service users, healthcare professionals and system partners to share feedback gathered through community engagement, events, ward visits, surveys and outreach work. This ensures that real experiences from local families directly inform decision-making and service development.

Our MNVP covers the London boroughs of Tower Hamlets, Waltham Forest and Newham. We are committed to ensuring that diverse voices are heard, particularly those from communities who are often underrepresented or face health inequalities. Insights gathered through MNVP are fed directly into NHS trusts and system-level forums to influence improvements in safety, experience and outcomes for families.
