What Little Muddy Boots says

In 2014, a National Trust survey revealed that the majority of children play outside for less than an hour a day, less than a third of the time enjoyed by their grandparents’ generation. For the last 6 years, we have been running successful classes that help children learn more about the natural world, from the plants they can grow to the wildlife that is on our doorsteps. In 2020, the COVID-19 virus hit the UK and, all of a sudden, being able to play outside in your back garden became a vital part of home learning. Our classes and our online club aims to inspire children’s parents/caregivers with many games, activities and resources that can be used in their own gardens or on the next nature walk.

Hi, I’m Laura – mum of 2 (plus a crazy cockapoo!).
I’m excited to welcome you to Little Muddy Boots Wokingham & Reading based at Holme Grange Craft Village. I run a lovely garden space where we grow our own and it’s ready to welcome you to play, learn and grow with us. We also do bespoke outdoor parties all year round!

I first attended Little Muddy Boots classes with my son when he was 18 months old, they were the only classes we’d found that suited his drive to be on the go and exploring in all weathers – we were hooked!

Seeing how much my son enjoyed and learnt from the sessions gave me the incentive to start my own LMB franchise so when the opportunity came up in Wokingham where we live I knew it was meant to be!

I have worked hard to update and improve our garden site at Holme Grange Craft Village and can’t wait to share it with you. My vision is to make it a safe, inclusive and fun environment for everyone who comes to play, grow and learn.
