Hello, I am Laura!
The owner of Counting Kids Telford and Shrewsbury. With an extensive background in primary teaching and experience working in nurseries, I have dedicated my career to supporting children in their earliest and most important years of learning.

I am passionate about early years education and believe wholeheartedly in the power of learning through play. Play is where curiosity thrives, confidence grows, and vital skills begin to develop. For me, there is nothing more rewarding than helping children discover the joy of learning in a fun, engaging, and supportive environment.

One of my key focuses is on building strong foundations in early Maths and ensuring children feel confident and prepared for the transition to school. I know how important those first steps are, not only for academic success but also for developing a lifelong love of learning.

At Counting Kids, my goal is to create a space where children feel inspired, families feel supported, and every child is given the best possible start on their educational journey.
